Ordinexdata (the Financial Intelligence API, "the Service") provides SEC EDGAR filing data, structured financial fundamentals, insider transaction and institutional holdings data, computed factor scores, market data, and macroeconomic indicators, accessed over a REST API.
The Service is not investment advice. Data, factor
scores, screens, rankings, and any other output are provided for
informational purposes only and do not constitute a recommendation to
buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for any
investment or trading decisions made using the Service. Past
performance (including backtested results from the /backtest
endpoint) is not indicative of future results.
The Service is currently offered as a beta, and by using it you acknowledge and accept that, during this beta period:

Filing and fundamentals data is sourced from SEC EDGAR and macro
indicators from FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis) - both U.S.
government works in the public domain. Market price data (and factors
derived from it) is sourced from an unofficial, third-party endpoint
provided for evaluation purposes only - it is not licensed for
commercial use or redistribution. Every API response includes an
X-Data-License header:

Not licensed for redistribution or commercial resale
while this header is present. These endpoints will be offered under
a licensed data provider once one is contracted to replace the
current unofficial source.
Self-service API keys (POST /signup) are issued scoped to
the public-domain endpoints only. Keys with access to
beta-yahoo-sourced endpoints are issued manually, for
evaluation purposes, at our discretion.
The availability, accuracy, and licensing terms of third-party data
sources are outside of our control and may change without notice. You
are responsible for independently verifying that your use of any data
obtained through the Service - particularly data marked
beta-yahoo-sourced - complies with any restrictions
imposed by the underlying source, in addition to these Terms.
You are solely responsible for:
API keys are issued at our discretion and may be revoked at any time, for any reason, without notice - including for suspected abuse, excessive load, or violation of these Terms. You agree not to:
beta-yahoo-sourced, or otherwise use it beyond what
these Terms permit;The Service and all data are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that data is accurate, complete, or up to date. Data is sourced from third parties and may contain errors, gaps, or delays outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or liability; in those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
